A new Atcherley family tree powered by the Genealone WordPress plugin is now online. This includes all of the Atcherleys from the original Tree pages below, and a few more people besides.
My aim, with the Atcherley Family Tree and the Tree pages linked to below, is to present fairly basic, ‘bare bones’ family trees based on my current understanding of the relationships between the people within them. I do not claim that they will be 100% accurate, and they will be subject to modification as more data becomes available. They will also feature very little in the way of references or sources. What I am basically saying is that caution should be exercised if using these trees as source material. A good genealogist always cross-checks the conclusions of others with available records, preferably primary sources.
The stories and articles about the people and families in these trees, which I have (and will continue to) post on this website do include details of the sources I have used. Links to relevant articles (and Picture pages) will appear on the profile pages for people in the Atcherley Family Tree. In turn the articles (and Picture pages) will link back to the Atcherley Family Tree profile pages. I also plan to add links between the trees here, and the material in the Resources section of the site (census records and extracts from historical directories).
